Analyst (Student Assistant), Flagship Fund Investment Team

Team

CIP manages 13 funds with EUR 35 billion under management for 200 institutional investors across the globe. The Flagship Investment Team manage the Flagship Funds which are the largest in CIP and focus on greenfield investments within large-scale renewable energy infrastructure. It has a global reach with diversified investments across technologies in low-risk OECD countries in Western Europe North America and Asia Pacific. The latest Flagship Fund (CI V) became the worlds largest dedicated green infrastructure fund with more than EUR 12 billion in total commitments when it closed in 2025.

Role

As a Student Analyst in the Flagship Fund you will be part of a collaborative and dedicated team of 10-12 analysts assisting the European Flagship Investment Teams professionals in transaction processes preparing investment committee presentations financial modelling and various other investment team tasks. You will work closely with highly experienced investment professionals in an international and inspiring environment. We will constantly seek to inspire and challenge you with a clear focus on your learning and development. We aim to provide opportunities for you to expand your skills and knowledge through courses and resources helping you grow both professionally and personally. Furthermore as an analyst you will be part of a program designed to develop your skills to qualify you for a potential full-time Associate position upon graduation.

Responsibilities will consistof butare not limited to:

• Collecting and structuring information for decision makers
• Assisting with screening and valuation of investment opportunities
• Financial modelling of complex infrastructure assets and companies
• Coordination of and working with industrial partners and advisors
• Preparation of presentations and Investment Committee materials
• Ad-hoc analyses in close cooperation with other investment team members

The position ispart-timeand based in central Copenhagen in CIPs office in Nordhavn. The workload will vary depending on status and number of projects you are working on but you will have flexibility to structure your schedule around your studies and we are committed to providing flexibility during exam periods.

You

CIP is looking for 2nd and 3rd year BSc students in Finance Economics Business Engineering or similar.

• High academic achievements
• Prior work experience or participation in relevant case studies
• Genuine interest in investments corporate finance and energy infrastructure
• Good analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems in a structured way
• Ability to deliver high quality output under pressure and tight timelines
• Curious mindset with high willingness to learn and a forward-thinking attitude
• Ability to work independently while still being a team player
• Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
