JuniorHigh Softball Head Coach
Job Description
The Clinton Softball Program is seeking a highly motivated and committed Junior High Head Softball Coach. The coach is responsible for teaching fundamental skills fostering teamwork and sportsmanship and ensuring the safety and well-being of their student-athletes. The role involves athletic and administrative duties as well as providing positive mentorship for young players.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Embody the overall Programs mission vision and philosophy
- Cultivate a positive team environment that prioritizes learning sportsmanship and teamwork over winning at all costs
- Teach student-athletes fundamental skills
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions
- Determine lineups and strategies
- Instill positive character traits
- Communicate effectively with players parents administrators and other staff
- Ensure all players meet eligibility requirements and that necessary paperwork is filed
- Work cooperatively with the Athletic Director HS Head Coach and other school staff
- Prioritize Safety
