Title: RN Medical Surgical Float
Location: Watertown New York 13601
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $2433 Weekly Gross
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Medical Surgical Float. This role requires a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to provide high-quality patient care. The RN will assess patients needs including clinical teaching mental and spiritual aspects while ensuring safety for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe patient-centered care on a medical-surgical unit.
Recognize and address safety concerns; utilize patient lifts and other equipment appropriately.
Function effectively in high-stress situations with creative problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities including prioritization and delegation.
May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
Maintain excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills both written and verbal.
