We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fertility Nurse to join our Melbourne City Clinic supporting our team as the ANUM.
Genea Nurses provide frontline care to our patients supporting them along every step of their Fertility treatment. This role is unique you be working in an office environment interacting with our patients both over the phone and face to face. Alongside clinical duties a significant proportion of your role will involve providing patient care support and education.
On a daily basis your role will involve:
- Providing subject matter expertise to the team of Nurses assisting with complex scenarios and escalations
- Liaising with doctors to resolve any issues or escalations from the Nursing team.
- Administration support generating reports and reviewing data.
- Patient face to face interviews and phone chats
- Collaborating with doctors and scientists coordinating care working together to tailor unique treatment plans for each patient.
- Providing instructions to patients for the self administration of IVF drugs
- Providing results to patients over the phone and support at any point required
- Maintaining accurate patient records clinical data entry and general administration duties associated with the role
- Preparing for and assisting specialists with procedures
Qualifications :
We are seeking an experienced Fertility Nurse (with a current AHPRA registration) with some leadership experience who is keen to develop and grow their skills. You will have strong clinical skills but also strong people skills as large component of this role involves support and counselling. We are looking for empathetic Nurses who can build rapport and provide genuine authentic care to our patients.
As this role is office based you will need also strong administration skills and technical competence - at Genea we work across a number of different IT systems which you will need to learn.
