Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant AWS Cloud Network Engineer!

In this role you will take ownership of our cloud networking architecture within the riskCanvas End-to-End Anti-Money Laundering Tool Suite. A candidate for this role should work independently collaborate effectively across teams and automate all changes across multiple independent AWS accounts.

Responsibilities

Design implement and maintain AWS networking infrastructure (VPCs Transit Gateways VPNs PrivateLink etc.)

Manage cross-account networking and security (Security Groups NACLs routing etc.)

Collaborate with developers platform DevOps and security engineers to support networking for services running on Lambda ECS EC2 and S3

Automate infrastructure changes using CloudFormation Ansible and/or Terraform integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins CodeDeploy)

Own observability for the networking layer: implement monitoring logging and alerting Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues including performance bottlenecks security concerns and connectivity problems

Provide occasional on-call support for critical infrastructure issues.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in cloud networking preferably with a focus on AWS

Deep understanding of core AWS networking services (VPC TGW Route Tables VPN Private Link etc.)

Proficiency in infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and/or Terraform

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and AWS CodeDeploy9

Ability to work independently take ownership and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

AWS certifications (e.g. Advanced Networking Solutions Architect)

Familiarity with DNS multi-account architecture best practices
