Purpose of the consultancy

At Plan International Australia your leadership can help protect lives and promote equality. We are seeking an experienced International Team Leader to guide the design implementation and evaluation of a new Asian Development Bank (ADB) pilot focused on preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment (SEAH) in infrastructure projects.

This 25-month initiative will pioneer SEAH prevention approaches in Nepals SASEC Highway Enhancement Project working in partnership with communities schools contractors and local organisations.

Expected deliverables

  • Leading and managing all technical and operational aspects of the SEAH prevention pilot.
  • Overseeing the design delivery and evaluation of SEAH prevention activities.
  • Managing partnerships with local NGOs government counterparts and contractors.
  • Ensuring the production of high-quality research reporting and learning materials.
  • Representing the project to ADB and other key stakeholders.

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 15 years experience leading GBV/SEAH prevention initiatives ideally in large infrastructure or development projects.
  • Strong leadership partnership management and team coordination skills.
  • Experience working with multilateral institutions such as ADB World Bank or similar.
  • Experience working in Nepal or South Asia is highly regarded.

Contract Details

  • Contract Duration: Approximately 25 months ().
  • Location: Remote-based with periodic travel to Nepal.
  • Remuneration: Consultant contract indicative daily rate to be proposed by applicants.
