A little about this position:

Assist the Ski Patrol Director Assistant Director and Managers in leading the patrol staff in daily operations while caring for our guests as a member of a professional mountain rescue team.
Develop staff through daily mentorship facilitating training and completing performance reviews.
Foster a positive harassment-free environment through mutual respect and an inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

Meet the requirements of a Mammoth Mountain Senior Ski Patroller (TT-C).
Experience leading/managing complex incidents (medical or rescue).
Experience performing the primary patrol dispatcher role.
Qualified to lead multiple avalanche control routes on Mammoth Mountain involving the deployment of explosives.
Ability to make rational decisions in a highly stressful environment or situation.
Effective and timely communication with all Ski Patrollers Patrol management and other departments.
Ability to work collaboratively within the Patrol management team.
Effective evaluation and mentorship of Ski Patrol TT-B and TT-C personnel.
Ability to manage daily Ski Patrol operations.
Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office.

Hourly pay rate: $35.58 to $42.44
