Customer Experience Associate - Medicaid Provider Support

Location: Onsite preferred (remote option available for highly qualified candidates)
Pay Range:$16.00 - $17.00/hr. (exceptional candidates may be considered up to $17.50-$18.00/hr.)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Call Center Team - No Weekends No Cold Calling


About the Role

Join a supportive employee-friendly environment where youll play an important role assisting Medicaid providers across Montana. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others learning new systems and contributing to a mission-driven healthcare support program.

As a Customer Experience Associate youll be the primary point of contact for Medicaid providers handling inbound calls and assisting with eligibility claims and account questions. Youll use internal systems to research information resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to Medicaid provider inquiries via phone and email using standard procedures and scripts.
  • Identify customer needs answer questions and resolve account issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Use provided tools and systems to guide customer conversations and document outcomes.
  • Verify documentation and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Track daily tasks for quality review and compliance.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies.
  • Handle all confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Attend team meetings and complete required training sessions.
  • Perform additional clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office administrative or customer service experience (call center experience preferred).
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow processes handle confidential data and meet service level expectations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screening.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or insurance terminology is preferred.
  • Experience with data entry and database systems preferred.
