Position Title: Global Infrastructure Maintenance Manager Reports to: Senior Vice President GCS Remuneration: 70k-80k per annum dependent on experience and qualifications Location: Leeds UK (candidate must live within a commutable distance to the Leeds office) Main Purpose This role is a senior and strategic management position within the Naviam Global Cloud Services (GCS) organization reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Cloud Services and is located within the Service Management division of the Cloud and Technical Services organization. This is a global team position and carries an allowance for time worked outside the postholders regular working day hours to meet with colleagues and customers in different global territories if required. This role will design manage and run how the global patching effort functions within Naviam owning the three-year forward plan/Gantt of patching cycles the compatibility matrix showing supported versions and all the internal stakeholder and external client communication channels. This role is not technical and would suit a project manager master scheduler/planner manager coordinator communicator and facilitator. Client and stakeholder-facing skills are essential. Autonomy and the ability to design processes not just use them are an advantage. Responsibilities: - Head of Global Patching and Maintenance Service
- Accountability to ensure that all of Naviams cloud-hosted Openshift clusters are patched before any lapse into end of support with the vendor; using a three-year forward plan/Gantt Chart with planned patching dates.
- Communication with internal stakeholders to inform them of the patching schedule and details of upcoming programs
- Participating in calls and meetings with external clients as required
- Accountability for the global compatibility chart showing all compatible versions of applications databases tools and platform
- Act as the global point of contact for all queries on global patching
- Accountability for the maintenance and upkeep of global configuration data (CMDB) showing up-to-date version numbers for all configuration items
- Marshalling of technical resources from any territory to undertake the patching duties and perform the upgrades
- Working with the Naviam global product teams to ensure that versions of all own-IP products are compatible with the application versions planned to be rolled out
- Liaising with internal product and testing teams globally to ensure they have adequate development and testing time before patching cycles
- Managing any bottlenecks of planning schedules due to late testing results from any product teams globally making live changes to planned patching schedules in response
Requirements: Required experience
- 2 years of experience in Project management resource allocation or scheduling role
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency with project management tools and the ability to create and adapt Gantt charts
Preferred experience - 2 years of experience in a client-facing role
- Prior exposure to software development lifecycles release schedules versioning and patching
- Familiarity with IBM Maximo OpenShift or other Cloud containerization ecosystems
Personal Skills - Professional and committed able to work unsupervised for task completion disciplined organized
- Empathic to colleagues and service requestors and willing to be as helpful as possible in a service provision role where customers are internal as well as external
- Ability to succeed working in virtual teams with colleagues on the other side of the world

Hours of Work:
- This permanent role works a standard eight-hour day five days a week. As a global role some work outside the regular time zone business day is required and the salary reflects this commitment.
