Team: The Financial Modelling team partners with the Client Services Relationship Management and Sales team by helping them with client requests related to a wide range of product offerings of S&P Capital IQ and Market Intelligence Platform which includes Excel Plug-in tool web platform and Dashboard.

  • As an Sr. Application associate in financial Modelling you will learn explore educate and support usage of excel-based products and financial information via customers of capital and commodity markets where you will hold investigative conversations with clients to drive product usage retention and revenue.
  • You will leverage your financial market knowledge your strong customer service skills and exceptional troubleshooting abilities to help the clients with their requests while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools our data and the industries we cover. Many of the Fortune 500 companies in the world will be asking for your help to find solutions to their challenges.
  • You will also be the Clients advocate and work with different teams inside the organization across many functional areas (Sales Technology Content Industry Research etc.)
  • You will also play a major role in executing and improving BAU proactive processes to prevent issues and improve delivery quality to our clients.
  • In the process you will suggest improvements to the product as well as perform Agile-based User-Acceptance-Testing to curb issues even before they hit our clients.
  • Master the knowledge of S&P Capital IQ and Market Intelligence products and services.
  • Gain exposure to other departments by liaising with Relationship Management Product Management and Client Services teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models in MS Office products for internal/external clients to help them in their routine workflow/analysis.
  • Consistently make proactive suggestions in regard to product usability presentation and data quality.
  • Foster a client -focused working environment with clear responsibilities and expectations for team.
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the product and platforms.
  • Set performance objectives to align with the organizations strategy.
  • Provides feedback/feed forward in a constructive way and coach employees throughout the year.
  • Assists management with hiring processes; Lead the training efforts and develop associates as they are hired.
  • Active contributor in meetings and encourages group participation.
  • Able to successfully create and independently manage projects. Proactively looks for opportunities to lead projects.
  • Quick in decision making when needed and ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to independently manage the interactions with various unified teams.

Education Requirements: Post Graduate Degree in Accounting Finance and/or equivalent education

Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
