Job Title:Registered Nurse Correctional Facility
Location:Moravia NY
Duration:26 Weeks (Extension Possible up to 52 Weeks)
Shift:Mid Shift 5x8 Hour Shifts (1:00 PM 10:00 PM)
Pay:$55 - $58 per hour

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care and manage comprehensive care plans for patients within the correctional facility.
Perform health assessments administer prescribed treatments and monitor patient progress.
Identify and respond to health issues through nursing interventions including case-finding health teaching and counseling.
Supervise and mentor Graduate Nurses Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other direct care staff.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated holistic patient care.
Participate in health-related committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with facility and state regulations.

Qualifications

Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensewith current registration in theState of New York.
Strong commitment to patient care confidentiality and professional ethics.
Excellent communication clinical judgment and teamwork skills.
Previous correctional or acute care nursing experience preferred but not required
