What youll do

As a Junior Sommelier youll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting ourguests:

• Helpguests choose the right wines to enjoy with their meals.
• Workclosely with the Sommelier and the restaurant team.
• Learnabout our wine menu and keep your knowledge up-to-date.
• Helpset up and maintain the wine service area.
• Makesure guests feel welcome and enjoy their experience.

The itemsshared are the essence of a day in the life of a Junior Sommelier but wellmake sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.Theoperational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change.

• We areopen breakfast lunch and dinner. The operational hours of work areshift-based.

What youll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

• A friendly andhelpful attitude.
• Basic knowledge of wine or a strong interest in learning more about it.
• Good communication skillsyou like talking to people.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
• Organised and able to follow instructions clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Previousexperience working in a restaurant bar or hotel.
• Any wine training or qualifications such as WSET Level 1.
• An interest in food and drinks and how they go together.
• Confidence in serving guests at a luxury venue.
