Job Overview
Supporting the kitchen team in basic food preparation
Supporting the kitchen team in their cleaning routine to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Responsibilities
Managing receipt of deliveries and efficient storage compliant with food hygiene regulations
Preparation for breakfast service
Managing the breakfast service operation
Supporting Front of House and managing the food counters during lunch service
Supporting Front of House service operations by replenishing service stations
Ensuring that any concerns you observe or are raised with you in your role are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels
Knowledge
Experience of food handling and usage of kitchen equipment
Previous exposure and responsibility to Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards
People Skills
A self-starter with a high level of initiative and proactivity
Great communication skills with an ability to motivate others
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Quick learner and able to follow instructions
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to work well as part of a team
