Were seeking an SAP Test Manager for a 5 month PAYG contract role to lead internal testing deliverables and support a major transformation project in Brisbane. This position requires on-site presence in our Brisbane office four days per week. Youll oversee testing activities across multiple streams ensuring alignment with project timelines quality standards and stakeholder expectations. As the Test Lead youll ensure SAP solutions meet performance architectural and functional requirements are fit for business purposes and that all testing efforts are completed in accordance with agreed guidelines. Experience in large-scale SAP transformations and an understanding of BPO are essential for success in this role.
Your tasks:
- Own and drive the end-to-end SAP testing strategy across multiple project phases (Explore Realize Deploy Run) aligned to SAP Activate methodology
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including planning execution triage and reporting
- Guide customer teams through UAT preparation and execution ensuring clarity and structure
- Define and manage entry/exit criteria test data readiness environment setup and scheduling
- Oversee defect management triage and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with functional technical and data teams to ensure test coverage and quality
- Build scalable and repeatable test frameworks and templates for future projects
- Provide clear and concise reporting to both delivery teams and executive stakeholders
- Support hypercare testing and post-go-live validation
Skills required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in functional SAP Test Management with in-depth understanding of SAP implementation and testing methodologies.
- Experience in SAP CALM preferred
- Experience with Hypercare Triage
- Proven track record in managing large-scale SAP projects with a customer centric approach.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with a proven track record of success in Test Manager roles within SAP projects consistently delivering on time and ensuring quality.
- Experience in testing across Agile projects with the ability to adapt and deliver optimal results.
- Communication and collaboration skills accustomed to working closely with customers and delivery partners to establish and maintain robust professional relationships.
- Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration between diverse stakeholders.
The position requires a local incumbent with some hybrid flexibility; remote work is not available.
