This is a hybrid position with an expectation to be in our Fort Wayne IN office a minimum of two days per week. This position does not qualify for relocation assistance. Position Summary

The Associate Software Engineer is an entry-level role focused on supporting the development maintenance and enhancement of Java-based software solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teamsparticipatingin agile development processes and contributing to the delivery of high-quality applications. The role also includes client-related support and documentation efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in code reviews sprint planning and release sessions.

  • Assistin developing unit test cases for new features and bug fixes.

  • Provide technical support and help diagnose software issues.

  • Document andmaintainroot cause analyses for reported issues.

  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing software solutions.

  • Assistin preparing functional and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and document potential solutions.

  • Assistin collecting and documenting technical requirements.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • FamiliaritywithJava HTML CSS JavaScript andobject-oriented programming.

  • Basic understanding ofSQL relational databases andtheSDLC.

  • Exposure to tools such asChromeGitLab Atlassian Jira andautomation frameworks.

  • Intermediateverbal and written communication skills.

  • Basictime management and organizational abilities.

  • Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong listening skills.
