Job Summary
Description
Requirements
- Repairs and maintains equipment: vacuums high speeds low speeds carpet extractors.
- Issues supplies for routes Tuesdays and Thursdays. Takes supplies to Michelson Lab. When the orders come in from Vendors on Wednesdays and Thursdays checks to make sure that the amount received corresponds with what was ordered.
- Required to wash laundry throughout shift and keep shop neat and clean.
- Must be able to perform physical labor to include lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Safety is the most important part of your job and the one aspect you must consistently keep in mind while working.
- Horseplay will not be tolerated.
- Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
- You must comply with instructions and direction. Arguments and insubordination will not be tolerated.
- Always stay informed of schedules and requirements.
- Take the initiative to know what is expected of you as you move from task to task.
- All required PPE will be worn no exceptions!
- Must be able to work independently.
- Only authorized personnel may operate equipment.
