The Senior Child Development Specialist provides advanced clinical expertise in developmental assessment early intervention and family-centered care for neonatal and pediatric populations. This role integrates clinical practice with research program development and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize child and family outcomes. The specialist also contributes to education mentorship and professional development for healthcare staff while advancing equity and accessibility in early childhood care.
Qualifications:
Education
Doctorate degree in Child Development Early Childhood Education Developmental Psychology Human Development or related field
Experience
Minimum 57 years of progressive clinical and/or research experience in child development neonatal or pediatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Demonstrated expertise in developmental assessment early intervention and family-centered care.
Licensure Registration and/or Certification
Certification or eligibility in administration of standardized developmental assessments (e.g. Bayley Scales Vineland HINE GMA or equivalent).
Certification or demonstrated competency in neurological or developmental examinations for neonatal and pediatric populations.
Eligibility for additional professional certifications as required by role and program.
