The Challenge
Shimano is looking for a Brand Coordinator! As a Brand Coordinator you are responsible for the coordination of the appointed brand portfolio. You have a central position between suppliers and our own sales offices. Next to Shimano and our other own brands (Lazer PRO Bikefitting) we act as a complete supplier towards our bicycle retail customers.
The person we are looking for has excellent planning & organizing and stakeholder management skills. An understanding of the market and consumer behavior are important as you will become an expert regarding product life cycle processes. Besides being analytical you are able to convince others with your plans and ideas with a lot of enthusiasm. Next to this you are a true relation builder/maintainer and you have excellent intercultural communication skills.
The Challenge
- Own the product life cycle of the appointed brand(s).
- Provide complete product range including marketing and sales support for the SSOs (Shimano Sales Offices).
- Pro-actively collect and report information (competition market/sales data trend information) for relevant product categories through field visits online research exhibitions and joining vendor presentations.
- Manage effective relationships with internal and external Brand Owners to ensure communication of full product information pricing sales actions analysis stock situation and timely approvals for planned activities.
- Own and coordinate the product master data in the various systems.
- Coordinate the annual purchase plan based upon the initial consolidated forecast.
What we are looking for
- A completed education on Bachelor-level.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (preferably in an international setting).
- Affinity / knowledge of the bike-market.
- Excellent language skills in English both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers and Shimano Sales Offices.
