Target Start Date: First week of NovemberAbout the Role: The client is seeking a Klaviyo Automations Specialist for a remote role. This position focuses on the technical aspects of Klaviyo including managing and optimizing automation flows ensuring accurate customer journeys and performing light development work related to API calls and integrations with NetSuite and Salesforce. The role requires proficiency in Klaviyos technical aspects and an understanding of API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution
- Ensure correct segments links UTM tracking and personalization.
- Monitor deliverability errors and performance post-send.
- Provide insight and advise on high and low performance campaigns & content
Automation & Flows
- Maintain and optimize lifecycle flows (welcome abandoned cart post-purchase sunset winback VIP).
- Update triggers delays and conditions for accuracy and effectiveness.
Technical Integrations
- Manage Klaviyo integrations with Shopify/WooCommerce (or similar).
- Maintain and troubleshoot data syncs for customers orders and events.
- Implement custom events and properties for deeper segmentation.
Product Catalog & Dynamic Content
- Maintain product feeds for accurate recommendations in campaigns/flows.
- Ensure pricing availability and promotions display correctly.
- Support dynamic product blocks and predictive recommendations.
Segmentation & RFM Modeling
- Build and maintain advanced customer segments.
- Conduct RFM (Recency Frequency Monetary) modeling to identify and target high-value customers.
- Update audience segments weekly based on behavioral and purchase data.
Ad Platform Integration
- Sync Klaviyo segments with paid ad platforms (Facebook Instagram Google Pinterest).
- Maintain high-value audience lists for retargeting and lookalike campaigns.
- Track conversions and cross-channel attribution.
Reporting & Optimization
- Produce weekly reports on email/SMS performance RFM data and ad sync results.
- Monitor deliverability bounce rates and unsubscribes.
- Recommend ongoing optimization opportunities for flows segmentation and data accuracy.
Required Experience
Hard Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Klaviyo with a strong emphasis on the technical aspects of automation.
- Solid understanding of API integrations and backend connections.
Soft Skills Required:
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of technical projects.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with the marketing team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce is considered a valuable asset but is not a mandatory requirement.
