Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton requires Unified Communication (UC) Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administers the operation of all SOCOM Unified Communications (UC) systems and services according to Government policies and procedures.
- Coordinates and implements UC software and hardware upgrades.
- Troubleshoots and resolves UC performance connectivity and related UC problems.
- Administers UC security antivirus and spam control measures.
- Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
- Works independently and provides administration of UC systems.
- Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of UC systems.
- Documents and maintains UC topologies.
- Resolves ticket requests works to resolve incidents and escalates to the engineering team when .
- Adds Office 365 users and assign licenses (manually or by using automated tools such as PowerShell scripts).
- Configures settings and policies for Office 365 such as managing USSOCOMs security compliance and productivity. These settings include password policies email protection device management and more.
- Maintains the setup of email and other services (such as Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business and Teams) to meet your USSOCOMs needs and enable collaboration and communication.
- Monitors Office 365 and Cisco Jabber usage and troubleshoot issues that arise. This can involve monitoring service health analyzing usage reports and responding to user feedback and support requests.
- Stays up-to-date with Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and new features and evaluates how they may impact USSOCOM.
- Manages configuration settings for USSOCOMs use and set up of Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams including installing the software/updates configuring settings and connecting to USSOCOMs server(s).
- Adds and manage users: to Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams and manage their access and settings such as creating user accounts assigning roles and configuring user settings.
- Configures chat and calling features for Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams to meet USSOCOMs needs. This involves setting up chat rooms configuring audio and video settings and setting up call forwarding and voicemail.
- Manages Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams contacts and groups to enable collaboration and communication. This involves creating contact lists adding contacts and setting up groups.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Min 12 years with HS Diploma 10 years with AS/AA degree 8 years with BS/BA 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PHD
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- At least 2 years experiencein increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing administering performing testing and analyzing network.
- Candidates must have experience with current technologies and where for the task emerging technologies.
Highly Desired:
- CISCO Certified Specialist Collaboration Core certification.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification.
