Production Manager - 1st Shift

Were looking for a driven and hands-on Production Manager with experience leading an assembly operation and multiple shifts 150 employee to lead manufacturing operations within a key value this role youll take full ownership of performance overseeing cost quality methods and output while inspiring your team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement every day.

What Youll Do

Lead and inspire: Manage a team of about 150 employees including supervisors team leads and production staff to deliver top-quality products on time and within budget.

Drive efficiency: Streamline processes reduce lead times optimize resources and boost productivity using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with Operational Excellence Supply Chain Quality and Planning teams to improve workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.

Solve problems: Monitor schedules address production challenges and develop solutions that keep operations running smoothly.

Champion improvement: Research and implement new equipment and technologies that enhance throughput and reduce costs.

Build a strong culture: Foster a safe engaging and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork accountability and pride in performance.

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related field.

5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

35 years of experience with assembly.

Experience with low-volume high-mix or working for an OEM.

Proven success applying Lean Six Sigma 5S or other continuous improvement tools.

Strong leadership communication and coaching skills you know how to get the best out of people.

A track record of problem-solving and driving measurable improvement.

Ability to collaborate across teams and departments.

Willingness to work overtime or weekends when production demands it.
