Production Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join our millwork team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom commercial millwork production a deep understanding of shop drawings and blueprints and proven leadership skills to oversee daily operations in the shop. This role requires precision efficiency and the ability to guide a team to produce high-quality work that meets project specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the millwork production team.
  

• Review interpret and verify shop drawings blueprints and specifications for accuracy prior to fabrication.
  

• Assign tasks monitor progress and ensure production schedules are met.
  

• Inspect completed work for quality craftsmanship and adherence to design specifications.
  

• Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and installers to resolve design or production issues.
  

• Maintain equipment tools and materials inventory to ensure smooth workflow.
  

• Promote and enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance.
  

• Train and mentor production staff to enhance skill development and productivity.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial millwork fabrication or carpentry with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  

• Ability to read interpret and work directly from shop drawings and architectural blueprints.
  

• Strong understanding of millwork processes materials and finishing techniques.
  

• Proficient in the use of woodworking machinery hand tools and measurement instruments.
  

• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  

• Reliable transportation and a valid Texas Drivers License required.
