How youll contribute

A Front Desk Representative within the Gastrointestinal department who excels in this role:

• Assumes responsibility for the efficient productive and professional operation of the front office. Duties include Checking in Co-Pay collection and appointment call reminders.
• Greets patients as they enter department for their appointments.
• Manages telephone and patient reception scheduling of patients collecting patient demographic and insurance information.
• Maintainingnon-clinical supplies and receiving/documenting patient payments.
• Comfortable working with 30-45 patients throughout the day.

Schedule:This position is a Full Time Benefited position. Working hours are day shift general business hours 40 hours per week.

What were looking for

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• Oneyearexperience working in a medical/business office setting with strong customer service.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations especially Medicare & Medicaid.
• Experience working with medical terminology electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
