OBO/OPS/FAC/MS has a requirement for Management Analyst to provide full-time consulting and support services.

The Management Analyst supports the Maintenance Support Division as required in management development and administration of program tasks to ensure facility maintenance systems in US Diplomatic missions are safe and highly reliable for the diplomatic community. The Management Analysts primary focus includes performing general administrative duties communications and financial analysis. Examples include but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs management and program support work such as planning research analysis correspondence control communication and special projects.
  • Performs procurement and contracting administrative functions such as assisting with pre solicitation documents evaluations and administration of contracts and advises on the administrative processes.
  • Performs administrative work including travel personnel administration budgeting procurement property management data entry records management or supplies.
  • Coordinates office moves office construction and other facility improvements which include recommending selection and requisitioning of furniture assisting with purchasing/leasing equipment obtaining telephone services and equipment and obtaining maintenance agreements for the equipment procured.
  • Manages and prepares responses to correspondence in an organization; and/or acts as a liaison or handles communication with people and/or groups within and outside of the organization.

Coordinates facilities and related arrangements for planning conferences assist with presentation materials and provide on-site support; and other duties as assigned



Requirements
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Mastery of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Departmental Bureau and Office program goals and objectives to initiate creative and innovative solutions to problems and issues that may have no previous research methodology or history.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting analyses and studies that involve multiple parameters or may not have measurable outcomes using traditionally accepted techniques and in creating such studies from the ground up with no former data methodology or instruction.
  • Skill in advising and negotiating effectively with management officials to accept and implement recommendations where proposals involve substantial resources require extensive changes in established procedures or may conflict with the desires of the activity studied.
  • Skill in managing change embodying flexibility and influencing events and resources as needed to achieve desired results.
  • Superior writing skills to prepare end user reports including the SM Program Performance Review (PPR) and other reports ad directed and to present information in a universally understandable manner to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to coordinate priorities commitments and multiple viewpoints to create productive results.
  • Ability to persuasively make accurate and evidentially backed recommendations to change procedures methods policies and programs.
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Skilled in the use of basic and advanced features of the MicrosoftOffice suite including Access Excel PowerPoint Word and other applications such as SharePoint as well as other automated systems used by the Office and the ability to learn and apply new software variations as they affect Office operations.
  • A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of related experience.
