We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize our inbound operations. The role involves managing a large team driving operational excellence and ensuring efficient receiving and stowing of inventory while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead develop and manage a team of 100 associates and multiple Area Managers
- Drive performance management coaching and career development initiatives
- Implement effective staffing strategies and workforce planning
- Foster a positive work culture and maintain high team engagement
A day in the life
- Own end-to-end inbound operations including receiving stowing and inventory control
- Achieve productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency
- Manage critical metrics including dock-to-stock time inventory accuracy and productivity
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Experience in employee and performance management
- Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
- Speak write and read fluently in English
