Job Summary

This position is head of HR at Häfele America Co. (Company) and leads HR initiatives to drive successful outcomes across the employee life cycle and ensure HR practices support the business objectives of the Company. This position is responsible for the managing coaching and professional development of the Hafele Human Resources team which consists of Payroll Training Recruitment and Employee Relations specialists. This position is required to develop and maintain appropriate policies legal and regulatory compliance and determine the of implementation of local benefit programs.

The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development of the Human Resources function with a focus on ensuring local alignment with global strategies. The Sr. HR Manager acts as the bridge between Global and Local HR ensuring cultural integration and unified goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with Company strategic goals
  • Lead the development engagement and motivation of personnel
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on people management engagement strategies and effective communication styles
  • Serve as an active member of the Global HR Leadership team collaborating on initiatives globally.
  • Serve as an active member of the Regional Management team championing the HR agenda locally.
  • Work closely with the COE (Center of Expertise) to outline HR requirements for the Region HAC and ensure that globally-developed HR instruments meet Regional needs.
  • Lead Region-specific initiatives
  • Define and manage the local talent acquisition recruitment and selection process while driving Employer Branding efforts.
  • Oversee and manage a performance management process that drives high performance
  • Develop and manage compensation plans and benefits programs
  • Utilize data and metrics to guide decision making ensuring alignment with global objectives while addressing regional complexities and challenges
  • Assess training needs develop and implement training programs including Management Development programs
  • Manage payroll processes and reporting system
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR processes reporting and local labor laws.
  • Work closely with Executive Management Business Area Managers and global Managers.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree or equivalent from four-year College or University and at least 5 years related experience and/or training; and minimum of 5 years experience management of an HR team. Experience with content production maintenance and delivery of employee development programs.

TECHNICHAL SKILLS

High level of experience with Human Resource and Payroll related software

Proficient with MS Word and Excel (Comfortable with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP)
