Position Summary
The Department of Biology at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach BIOL 317: Animal Behavior during the Spring 2026 semester. This course includes both a lecture and laboratory component and serves as an advanced elective for Biology majors. Lecture: Monday Wednesday and Friday 9:2010:10 a.m. Laboratory: Tuesday 8:3011:30 a.m. Semester Dates: January 5 April 24 2026 with a final exam scheduled between April 2730. Candidates should hold at least a masters degree in biology or a closely related discipline and have prior teaching experience. A Ph.D. or ABD (Ph.D. candidate) is preferred.
