Pay Rate: $10 - $13/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available: 8-hr Shifts
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living ensures patient comfort and safety and maintains accurate records of patient care. This is a PRN position offering flexible scheduling based on facility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene grooming and dressing.
- Assist patients with mobility transfers and positioning.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide feeding assistance and support with dietary needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and requests.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses doctors and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification in the state of New York.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 6 months of CNA experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
