We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our established Internal Audit team. Together were building a dynamic forward-thinking service that plays a vital role in supporting not only the Council but also a wide range of valued external clients.
As an Internal Auditor you will:
- Deliver a portfolio of audits as part of the Services plan and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
- Support high standards of governance by evaluating and improving risk management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and data specialists to develop innovative ways of working and best practice.
- A detail-oriented and analytical professionalwith experience delivering high-quality insightful audit work.
- A strong communicator and collaboratorwho can engage effectively with stakeholders contribute to audit planning and present findings clearly both in writing and verbally.
- A proactive learner and team playerwho is eager to develop professionally contribute to continuous improvement and support the wider audit team.
