Job Summary

Mail:-


store in-charge for garments is responsible for the daily operations of a store or warehouse including managing staff handling inventory of raw materials trims and finished goods and ensuring store organization and efficiency. Key duties include maintaining stock accuracy coordinating with production and vendors implementing sales strategies and ensuring a high level of customer service and adherence to safety policies.
Key responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Oversee the receipt storage and issuance of fabrics trims and finished garments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits and verifications.
Place orders for new stock as needed to maintain appropriate levels.
Operations and Store Management:
Supervise the day-to-day running of the store or warehouse.
Ensure the store is clean organized and efficient.
Manage logistics including incoming and outgoing shipments.
Implement and enforce store policies including safety and loss prevention.
Staff and Team Management:
Supervise train and manage store personnel to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate with other departments such as production and procurement to meet business needs.
Performance and Sales (Retail-focused):
Monitor and analyze sales performance to meet store targets.
Implement sales strategies and promotional events to boost revenue.
Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
Required skills and qualifications
Experience in storekeeping inventory control and warehouse management.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and materials (especially for export houses).
Proficiency with inventory management systems and computer software.
Excellent communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
A high school diploma is often the minimum requirement with a college degree sometimes preferred.
