Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.


We are hiring an Oncology Registrar for our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Job type: Fixed Term / Full-time


Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of the Oncology Consultant in delivering high-quality Oncology services and provide full support to the Consultants in their clinical duties.

  • Admit Oncology patientseither supervising SHO admissions or acting as the primary admitterensuring all patients have a designated Consultant available 24/7.

  • Conduct patient handovers from the previous shift Registrar to maintain continuity of care make immediate clinical decisions and issue appropriate orders.

  • Perform daily morning rounds on all Oncology patients make ongoing care decisions document findings and communicate daily plans with Consultants and hospital staff to ensure timely investigations and interventions.

  • Regularly review patients as per the care plan order necessary investigations document reviews promptly and update Consultants on any changes or concerns.

  • Coordinate discharge planning with Consultants Nursing staff and Allied Health professionals ensuring all discharge summaries prescriptions and follow-up arrangements are completed.



  • Requirements


    • Current full registration with the Irish Medical Council (essential).

    • Membership of a relevant medical college (desirable).

    • Minimum of one years experience at Registrar level in an acute hospital setting.

    • Current BCLS certification (essential); ACLS certification (desirable).

    • Demonstrated interest in Oncology Medicine and patient care within this specialty.

    • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
