We are seeking a talented and inspirational Teacher of Girls Physical Education to join our excellent Department from 1st January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with some of the strongest student outcomes in Somerset both in terms of academic achievement and progression onto meaningful post-16 education and September 2025 our outcomes placed Preston among the top three schools in Somerset for Attainment 8.

  • A talented and inspirational Teacher of Girls Physical Education with the ability to teach Sport Science at GCSE
  • A commitment to securing strong student outcomes through consistently high-quality teaching and targeted intervention when required
  • A dedication to providing students with extra-curricular opportunities both in and outside of the school day including a range of sport fixtures
  • A teacher who sets and upholds high expectations for students behaviour and attitudes
  • A full and valid UK driving licence
  • This role is suitable for both experienced colleagues and those early in their career
