Job Summary
Are you ready to make a difference on Victorias beaches this summer Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is now accepting applications for aCritical Incident Support Welfare Officer to join our team.
Whether youre beginning your journey in beach safety or returning after some time away were thrilled to welcome enthusiastic individuals ready to be part of something meaningful and help keep our beaches safe this summer.

Were seeking team member who:
- Is enthusiastic about beach safety and public service
- Thrives in team environments and dynamic conditions
- Is committed to professionalism and community impact
- Holds relevant qualifications and VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Relevant qualifications in mental health or related fields.
- Experience in providing support during critical incidents or managing welfare programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in collaborating with emergency services and community organisations.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Strong leadership and coordination capabilities.
- Experience working in a member-based environment and/or within a member-driven service delivery model.
- Strong relationship management skills.
