Job Summary

We are looking for a Embedded Automotive Sales Manager to join our Japan sales team.

About the Role

The company is in a strong growth phase and is now expanding its footprint in the global automotive embedded software market. As vehicles evolve into software-defined platforms the shift from distributed ECUs to centralized architectures is transforming how data is stored transferred and secured. To accelerate this momentum we are seeking an experienced Automotive Embedded Sales Manager a results-driven hunter with a proven record of exceeding ambitious sales targets.

This role will focus on driving adoption of embedded software technologies for connected autonomous and electrified vehicle platforms working closely with OEMs Tier-1 suppliers OS and semiconductor partners in Japan.

What Youll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals within the automotive embedded software segment.
  • Identify and win new business with automotive OEMs Tier-1s and technology ecosystem partners.
  • Expand the companys presence and solution footprint within existing key accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth across software licensing design-in projects and long-term platform partnerships.
  • Maintain strong and trusted relationships with engineering procurement and program management stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical pre-sales product management and engineering teams to align customer needs with solution capabilities.
  • Monitor market trends customer roadmaps and competitive activity to guide business strategy.
  • Partner with strategic technology allies (e.g. silicon and OS vendors) to develop joint go-to-market initiatives.

  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate across technical and executive levels preferably in the embedded software or automotive electronics domain.
  • Skilled at translating complex technology value into compelling business benefits and ROI.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and strong analytical ability.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Thrives in fast-paced high-growth environments.
  • Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in embedded software sales or business development preferably in the automotive domain.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends toward SDV and centralized computing.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Native Japanese speaker with excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Existing professional network or working relationships with ECU software developers or system architects at OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Hands-on sales experience with embedded software components such as operating systems middleware or network stacks.
