Are you ready to take on the role of a Technical Consultant for our client one of the most prestigious financial organizations in Bahrain
The role would require frequent travel to Bahrain for a total of 25% of the total annual working time.
As a Technical Consultant you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform minor changes and enhancements in J2EE applications and Oracle PL/SQL code ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Write and optimize SQL queries PL/SQL scripts stored procedures and database functions.
- Assist in backlog refinement prioritization and planning by working closely with developers and business analysts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to both data and application processes.
- Develop expertise in the social security domain to better understand client needs.
- Support software testing validation and documentation ensuring smooth implementation of changes.
- Facilitate technical discussions and stakeholder workshops to ensure alignment.
- Manage scope changes and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on project progress and technical challenges.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree or MBA would be considered a plus.
- Excellent English skills (oral and written).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting software engineering or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with J2EE development and Oracle PL/SQL including minor code enhancements and debugging.
- Ability to troubleshoot application and database issues and implement small changes effectively.
- Experience in stakeholder management with strong communication skills with the ability to navigate complex business environments.
- Proven experience in software development lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of backlog prioritization and refinement within Agile frameworks.
- Ability to travel at 25% of the total annual working time.
