The Opportunity

For ourTransfusion MedicineDivision CDxwe are currently looking for an engineer to join our service team in Greece as aTechnical Service Specialist via a contractors agreement. This will be a field-based role requiring regular travelling within Greece (Athens and Thessaloniki) with occasional travels within Europe.

The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for providing level two support to our customer base handling installations complex repairs longer duration instrumenthardwareor software upgrades and providing basic training to customers.

What Youll do:

  • Perform new customers and laboratorysite inspectionsfor new contracts.
  • Provide level two service (complex service interventions requiring more than two hours of labor time).
  • Installationof instruments andlaboratory automationsystems.
  • Perform IQOQ (InstallationQualification Operation Qualification) procedures during and afterinstallation.
  • Schedule perform and documenthardwareandsoftware updates(TSBs) requiring more than 2 hours of labor time.
  • Deliver basic customer operator introductory trainings post install or posthardwareorsoftware upgrade.
  • Keep track of own spare parts stock.

Required qualifications and background:

  • University degree in a related field is required (engineering degree in medical / electrical / mechanical ormedical technology is preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in service engineering is a must (experience in diagnostics equipment or medical devices service is desired).
  • Good knowledge of basicIT and networking.
  • Excellent communication skills and team orientation.
  • Very good command of English and fluent Greek.
  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
  • Excellent experience in use ofanalytical tools and software.
  • Ability to travel across territory of responsibility.
  • Class B driving license.
