Why You Will Love this Job:

Responsible for managing/leading the Global Service Parts (GPS) in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will coordinate the plant administrative & union associates to effectively meet the and support customers of the Engines Home Energy and Power Systems businesses. Drive a continuous improvement culture that constantly strives to improve the level of safety (by mitigating safety risks) quality delivery and costs in the organization. Ensures appropriate and efficient product flow within the operations to allow the manufacturing operations to operate efficiently.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive safety culture pushing for zero injuries

  • Leads the team responsible for the day-to-day service parts operation including: picking packaging and shipping of service parts.

  • Meet all customer expectations in terms of delivery using LOTIF and customer request info to drive that expectation.

  • Continuously improve the level of quality within the materials organizations improving pick and shipment accuracy.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy such that taking physical inventory on an annual basis is not required

  • Optimize and improve the operations driving to improve inventory levels and turns while improving customer deliveries.

  • Control and improve operational spending to meet and exceed financial targets.

  • Responsible for the development of associates to achieve their maximum potential. He or she is also responsible for reviewing and recommending organizational changes to meet the changing needs of the business.

  • Direct and approve the establishment of production methods standards techniques and plans to assure production at the lowest cost that meets or exceeds expectations for quality and delivery.

  • Participate in the preparation of the annual operating budget and performance goals.

  • In coordination with Labor Relations Human Resources and the union (when appropriate) develop and administer approved labor relations policies personnel practices and procedures; salary and wage practices and procedures; and supervise direct and control the hiring training promotion or separation of all personnel including all aspects of fair employment practices equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs.

  • Personally demonstrate and drive the REHLKO core values throughout the organization.

  • Manage performance and associate development.

  • Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety Code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Operations Management Supply Chain Engineering Business Administration or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of eight years of progressive experience with proven results in a production control and supply chain environment.

  • Experience overseeing warehouse operations including shipping logistics coordination and process optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong track record of coaching mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

  • APICS CPM or equivalent professional certification preferred


The Salary range for this position is $131450.00-$ specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location.
