What Youll Do in This Role:

Are you someone who takes pride in creating a clean safe and welcoming environment As aFacility Support Personnel at our senior living community youll play a vital role in helping our residents feel at home. Youll be responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and equipment to ensure everything operates safely smoothly and efficiently. Were looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who can work independently adapt to changing needs and bring a strong sense of integrity to their work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping vacuuming dusting and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean restrooms replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day.
• Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in accordance with department procedures.
• Assist in cleaning windows walls and other surfaces as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds parking areas driveways trimming sweeping mowing removing snow and salting etc. as necessary/directed.
• Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the EVS Director.
• Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies.
• Complete work orders timely through an electronic portal system.
• Assist with room moves including furniture clothing and other personal items.

What Youll Need:

• 1 year of experience in custodial work required
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
• 1 year of experience in maintenance work preferred
• Must be 18 years old
• Valid unrestricted state of Michigan drivers license required
