The opportunity
As a Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that the retirement village facilities are maintained and presented as professionally as possible at all times. This will include:
- Communicating with village managers to complete maintenance works based on urgency and priority
- Ensuring routine maintenance works are addressed within the required deadlines and documented accordingly
- Completing general repairs and maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry painting and gardening
- Coordinating and supervising trades onsite
- Ensuring all administrative and reporting procedures associated with maintenance are completed
About you
You will be a person who enjoys working in a community environment is highly trustworthy and has empathy for older people.
In addition you will have:
- Previous experience working in building & grounds maintenance
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence
Prior to commencing in this role you will also need to obtain a working with vulnerable people check.
