Loan Operations Specialist

Job Description:

$1000 Signing Bonus (half after 30 days/half after 90 days); Pay range is $50k to $60k depending on experience.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our lending and operations teams. This role is responsible for accurately reviewing various commercial construction and consumer loans while ensuring all loan documentation is addition this position handles key loan operational duties including accounts payable initiating wire transfers and ACH processing. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of banking operations a strong commitment to accuracy and problem solving and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan documentation and input loan data accurately into the core banking system.
• Review loan bookings for completeness and compliance with bank approval documents.
• Ensure timely funding of loans.
• Prepare and initiate outgoing wire transfers related to loans in accordance with bank policies.
• Process ACH transactions for loan payments.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate with other bank departments to resolve issues and redefine possible one relationship at a time.

This role begins in-office full time with on-the job-training. Likely flexibility of one day WFH per week after training is completed.

Experience and Skills:

Experience:

• 1 years of banking experience with a basic understanding of accounting preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong proficiency in Excel and basic spreadsheet functions.
