This position is located in Defiance County Ohio.
The Office Services Coordinator position located in Defiance County Ohio is a 40-hour 5-day per week position that will be responsible for maintaining financial records for the Defiance County Extension Office. This includes: reconciling Defiance County Extension funds checking account and University PCard regularly; managing accounts payable and receivable cost recovery and purchase orders; and assisting with budgeting requests utilizing software that is provided by The Ohio State University.
This position will also be the primary support for the Agricultural and Natural Resources (Ag/NR) program area including but not limited to: planning and coordinating arrangements for events; managing registrations for programs and events utilizing tools made available by The Ohio State University; processing research and evaluation data; archiving program data and financial information; maintenance of Ag/NR client databases; providing clerical support to develop print and digital media including brochures newsletters handouts webpages social media and event programs following OSU policies and guidelines; assist with digital engagement strategies to promote Ag/NR programming; assist with maintaining the county website; assist the Ag/NR educator with creating editing and publishing educational videos; and distribute regular press releases through appropriate channels.
Additionally this position will provide additional program support to the 4-H Youth Development program (4-H) and front office tasks as needed such as: answering phones sorting mail assisting walk-in clientele receiving funds and opening/closing the office; coordination of e-mail mail web and phone requests and questions by distributing to the appropriate staff; research resolve and convey information on common client requests related to all Extension program areas; provide general office duties as assigned; assist with maintaining inventories of OSU and other publications for re-sale; maintain office records in accordance with OSU policy; assist with county operational plans as needed/assigned. Across all work duties this position is expected to deliver a high level of customer service and team collaboration with a positive attitude professionalism and clear communication.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this job profile is $15.86 - $20.74 hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity units available budget and the candidates qualifications.
