Schedule: Various overnight shifts:
Friday Sunday: 8:30 PM 8:30 AM
Monday Wednesday: 8:30 PM 8:30 AM
Thursday: 8:30 PM 8:30 AM
Job Summary:
The Overnight Healthcare Security Officer will provide a safe and secure environment for residents staff and visitors in Bellmore NY. This role involves monitoring premises enforcing facility policies and responding to incidents during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol facility to ensure safety and security of residents staff and property.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies documenting actions as required.
Monitor entrances exits and sensitive areas ensuring restricted access is enforced.
Communicate effectively with management staff and residents.
Maintain professional demeanor and comply with all facility and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid Security Guard license or be willing to obtain one.
Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.
Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing.
Prior security or healthcare experience required.
Working Conditions:
Overnight shifts including weekends.
Requires walking standing and patrolling for extended periods.
May respond to incidents requiring physical or mental alertness.
