What You Will Do:
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance to the product business andcompliance team in building various crypto / virtual assets-relatedbusiness offerings.
- Negotiate business and technical contracts with Indian and internationalpartners.
- Support litigation and enforcement teams in responding to regulatory
actions.
What You Need to Possess:
- Highly motivated entrepreneurial and between 12 to 15 years of post-qualificationexperience as an attorney predominantly in regulatedfintech/investment securities industries. Experience in the crypto businesswill be an advantage.
- A mix of law firm and in-house experience is preferred. Must have strongbusiness and technical acumen.
- Shall be able to demonstrate the following soft and organizational skills:
a. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and to toleratechange and ambiguity. Embrace risks.
b. Comfortable with interpreting and applying the law in unsettledcontexts.
c. Confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational
skills and a demonstrated ability to provide sound legal adviceexercise good business judgment and work well with senior
management and cross-functional stakeholders effectively andproactively.
d. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability tostay calm under challenging circumstances.
e. Outstanding written and oral communication skills and ability towork both in teams and independently. - This is an independent contributor role to start with but with close workingrelationship with India and international external counsels.
