Your role
To support our Global Account Management team were looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Global Accounts based in India to work closely with our largest global customers ensuring they receive exceptional value scalable solutions and consistent commercial support across regions and business units.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Own the overall global relationship with assigned major strategic accounts serving as the senior point of contact.
- Own financial health profitability and forecasting for each assigned major account.
- Anticipate risks to revenue or account financial health and implement preemptive action plans.
- Maintain strong executive relationships & communication with all assigned major customers.
- Coordinate multi-regional support and service delivery to major accounts ensuring consistent global standards.
- Schedule/ coordinate training with Service Managers for their accounts.
- Inform customers about new products and product features
- Work closely with Implementation Service Delivery and Product teams on account-specific needs.
- Lead major account escalations partnering across departments to achieve timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely invoicing billing and collections.
- Identify and relay product and operational improvement requests to Shiji Product & Solutions owners based on major account feedback.
- Representing the Company at global industry & customer events/ meetings.
- Manage a team of Account Directors/ Managers and coach them on strategy deployment of strategy understanding the customers needs and always providing helpful and friendly guidance.
Interaction: This position has daily interactions with senior management hotels & channels (customers) other team members and various critical departments within the many cases interactions with both internal and external parties will be at mid and upper management levels.
Qualifications :
- University Degree and a minimum of 10 - 15 years experience in global hospitality travel hospitality technology or hospitality suppliers ideally in a sales environment.
- Strong proven background in major account management or strategic partnerships.
- Ability to scale-up vertically for high-touch accounts as well as horizontally for small accounts.
- Able to partner with Implementation & Service Delivery teams through all lifecycle stages.
- Ability to manage large-scale complex global relationships with a balance of strategic and operational focus
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies products and procedures.
- Comfortable working and thriving in a multi-tasked and fast-paced global environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a strong advantage.
- Exceptional executive communication negotiation and influence with effective presentation skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
