What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Essential
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager in a similar setting
  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding procedures and nursery operations
  • Excellent leadership team-building and organisational skills
  • Confident in decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive stimulating environment for both children and staff

What Youll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery and stepping up in their absence
  • Leading and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality care and education across all rooms
  • Overseeing planning and implementation of the EYFS framework to ensure outstanding outcomes for children
  • Maintaining excellent communication with families and supporting staff-parent relationships
  • Driving continuous improvement in safeguarding health and safety and compliance standards
  • Supporting team development through supervision coaching and on-the-job guidance
  • Helping to manage staff rotas nursery budgets and occupancy targets
  • Being a visible and approachable leader within the nursery community
