What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Essential
- Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager in a similar setting
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding procedures and nursery operations
- Excellent leadership team-building and organisational skills
- Confident in decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about creating an inclusive stimulating environment for both children and staff

What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery and stepping up in their absence
- Leading and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality care and education across all rooms
- Overseeing planning and implementation of the EYFS framework to ensure outstanding outcomes for children
- Maintaining excellent communication with families and supporting staff-parent relationships
- Driving continuous improvement in safeguarding health and safety and compliance standards
- Supporting team development through supervision coaching and on-the-job guidance
- Helping to manage staff rotas nursery budgets and occupancy targets
- Being a visible and approachable leader within the nursery community
