What Were Looking For

Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Essential
Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager in a similar setting
Strong working knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding procedures and nursery operations
Excellent leadership team-building and organisational skills
Confident in decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about creating an inclusive stimulating environment for both children and staff

What Youll Be Doing

Supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery and stepping up in their absence
Leading and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality care and education across all rooms
Overseeing planning and implementation of the EYFS framework to ensure outstanding outcomes for children
Maintaining excellent communication with families and supporting staff-parent relationships
Driving continuous improvement in safeguarding health and safety and compliance standards
Supporting team development through supervision coaching and on-the-job guidance
Helping to manage staff rotas nursery budgets and occupancy targets
Being a visible and approachable leader within the nursery community
