Part-time Year 2 Teacher | October 2025 Start, Surrey

We are seeking a passionate nurturing and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a successful and welcoming primary school in Surrey. This permanent position is available full-time or part-time (3 days per week) and can start after October half-term. Experienced teachers with QTS and a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a delightful Year 2 class delivering engaging structured and play-based learning experiences in reading writing maths and wider curriculum areas
• Support the social emotional and academic growth of every child in your care
• Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
• Maintain effective communication with children parents and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the schools vision and ethos

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and child development
• Experience teaching in a KS1 setting is desirable
• Strong planning assessment and classroom management skills
• Up-to-date enhanced DBS check and relevant references
