Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 5 Teacher will design ambitious curriculum units in English and maths as the Year 5 Teacher lead reasoning and mastery sequences in maths as the Year 5 Teacher and deliver high-impact interventions as the Year 5 Teacher. The Year 5 Teacher will coordinate trips run parent transition evenings and prepare pupils for Year 6 responsibilities that the Year 5 Teacher will begin planning before January 2026 and implement from January 2026.
Year 5 Teacher Requirements & development
We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher with QTS strong KS2 track record and the ability to mentor others. The Year 5 Teacher should be available for pre-term preparation prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and full teaching duties from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 5 Teacher. The school provides coaching and progression opportunities for the Year 5 Teacher after the January 2026 start.
