Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Cardiac Telemetry PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown Sheath Removal Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Post MI Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Manage Cardiac drips- no titration Titrate Cardiac drips Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac External CPAP/BIPAP Nasal Cannula Non-invasive airway management Certs: BLS & ACLS NIHSS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Arterial line management Wound Care/Wound Vac and Charge Experience JOB DETAILS: Ratios: Varies per Acuity. Ratios are 1:4 for surgical step down and 1:5-6 for lower acuity Shift: NIGHTS 36 HOURS ONLY 13-26 weeks accepted Float Requirement: Will follow unit rotation - not first to float Weekend Requirement: 4 per 4 weeks (flexible) ** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Atrial Fibrillation CHF ACS CAD Aortic stenosis/regurgitation Mitral Regurgitation/Stenosis Endocarditis Cardiomyopathy PVD PAD Vasculitis Carotid stenosis Venous stasis sheath management sheath removal. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CABG AVR MVR TAVR Mitral Clip LAAO (Watchman procedure) VATS Carotid endarterectomy FEM-POP bypass Amputations Other vascular surgeries Cardiac surgeries Thoracic surgeries General thoracic surgery Post cath Post DCCV Post electrophysiology procedures Pacemaker placements. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Arterial lines (not required) Doppler Bladder scanner EKG Femoral sheaths TR band Fem-stop Chest tubes Epicardial Pacing Wires. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): Pyxis EPIC SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours SCRUBS: Navy INTERVIEW AVAILABILITY: Please provide your candidates interview availability for the next 72 hours while submitting.
