Job Summary

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. Traveler Experience: Required UNLESS traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience. Ratios are 1:4 for surgical step down and 1:5-6 for lower acuity Shift: NIGHTS 36 HOURS ONLY 13-26 weeks accepted Float Requirement: Will follow unit rotation - not first to float Weekend Requirement: 4 per 4 weeks (flexible) ** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Atrial Fibrillation CHF ACS CAD Aortic stenosis/regurgitation Mitral Regurgitation/Stenosis Endocarditis Cardiomyopathy PVD PAD Vasculitis Carotid stenosis Venous stasis sheath management sheath removal. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CABG AVR MVR TAVR Mitral Clip LAAO (Watchman procedure) VATS Carotid endarterectomy FEM-POP bypass Amputations Other vascular surgeries Cardiac surgeries Thoracic surgeries General thoracic surgery Post cath Post DCCV Post electrophysiology procedures Pacemaker placements. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Arterial lines (not required) Doppler Bladder scanner EKG Femoral sheaths TR band Fem-stop Chest tubes Epicardial Pacing Wires.
