About the job;
Advantra is partnering with a high-growth CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire an SDR / BDR to drive early outbound and account development efforts.
About the role:
You will identify high-potential accounts engage prospects with tailored outreach and help build Confidos sales infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build lists of relevant accounts that should be Confido customers.
- Send high-quality outbound messages to target accounts.
- Identify gaps in sales infrastructure and recommend tools or vendors to address them.
- Support initial qualification and handoff to account executives.
- Track and analyze outreach performance to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging and target strategies.
- Maintain CRM and accurate account records.
- Contribute to process improvements in sales workflows.
- Assist in pilot programs and special projects as needed.
Core requirements:
- 1 year meeting and exceeding quota in an SDR / BDR role or 1 year in consulting investment banking or investing.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Strong customer empathy and curiosity about buyer problems.
- Analytical skills to measure performance and adapt outreach.
- Demonstrated drive and ambition to take on increasing responsibility within 8-12 months.
- Comfortable with fast-paced high-growth startup environments.
- Experience with CRM or sales engagement tools preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Nice to have:
- Experience selling to CPG brands or in B2B SaaS.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing or outbound sales workflows.
- Exposure to sales tech stacks and automation tools.
- Prior experience in a startup environment.
- Understanding of retail or consumer goods industries.
