Job Summary
Position: Mainframe Network Engineer
Location: Plano TX (Local or nearby candidates preferred)
Employment Type: W2
We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Network Engineer with strong expertise in communication servers TPX and Connect:Direct (NDM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe networking troubleshooting and deployment along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:-
Configure maintain and troubleshoot mainframe network components including TPX Connect:Direct (NDM) and communication servers.

Perform network analysis and packet capture using tools such as Wireshark.

Lead deployments system integrations and problem resolution across mainframe environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability security and performance.

Diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance issues in production and test environments.

Document network configurations processes and troubleshooting steps.

5 10 years of experience as a Mainframe Network Engineer (more experience preferred).

Strong hands-on expertise with:

Communication Servers

TPX
-
Connect:Direct (NDM)

Proficiency with Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.

Strong troubleshooting analytical and deployment skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Experience with network automation or modernization initiatives.

Familiarity with mainframe security protocols and compliance standards.

Exposure to large-scale enterprise network environments.
